The couple had just entered Amer Fort riding an elephant. I noticed that the mahout was taking photographs of the couple with a mobile phone (tourists’ or his own – I don’t know). My focus was the mahout taking a photograph of his customers.
However, I noticed that the mahout was trying to cajole the old couple to kiss. They kept on looking at each other. “Kiss, kiss” insisted the mahout.
In anticipation, I was ready to capture the candid moment. And they kissed.
And then they smiled.
